overall cleanliness heating system easy access
I was impressed by the overall cleanliness of the caravan. the heating system kept us cozy despite the bitter weather outside. i also appreciated the easy access to both local amenities and outdoor activities. The location proved quite advantageous.

The kitchen contained ok cutlery and dishware. the nearby lidl is very convenient for stocking up on essentials. It's accessible by a short car ride, about two minutes. the drive made it easy to prepare our own meals.

the lodge features a log burner. there were two tvs provided, one in the bedroom and another in the living area. the hot tub was used every day of my stay and maintained a great temperature.

spacious lodge friendly receptionist convenient location
i found the lodge to be spacious and very well-equipped. the receptionist was friendly and provided helpful local recommendations. the location was great for accessing nearby attractions, and a short walk to town (very convenient).
the internet signal was somewhat weak, making streaming difficult.

riverside serenity
river view gentle lullaby serene atmosphere
The river view was captivating. Each morning was like a dream. i could hear owls after sunset, a gentle lullaby to end the day. deer were often visible across the river. the hot tub was especially wonderful and was very clean.
i found it somewhat inconvenient that i had nowhere to store clothes, meaning i couldn't unpack fully after arriving.

the park's position alongside a river gave it a lovely feel. sporting fields were located just behind the park, and a playground offered entertainment for kids.

Riverside Retreat

The Riverside 1 bedroom Lodge No Pets had a fantastic location right by the river. I used the outdoor space a lot. It included a log burner. The hot tub was amazing and easy to use. The lodge was super clean upon arrival.
The hot water took some time to heat up, so showering required patience.

The lodge overlooked the river and provided a beautiful view each morning. Deer were visible across the river sometimes. The environment seemed quiet, with owls hooting after sunset.

The cabin felt very cosy and clean. I found the equipment of the kitchen to be ok. It included cutlery and dishes. The bed linen was fresh, and towels were also available.

peaceful location good access electric hot tub
i stayed in a pod next to the river , and the location was certainly peaceful. it was also close to town , so it had good access. the pod included an electric hot tub.
i noticed a slight lack of coasters , so glass placement required some care.

Excellent stay by the river
scenic location cute feel
The location by the river was scenic. The Eden room had a cute feel to it. it was clean. The hot tub was a definite highlight of my visit!
We were then told we would have to go buy our own. Eventually the manager reluctantly gave us a miss match of linen, only enough for one pod even though two were booked. On the subject of the management I was very disappointed in the attitude we were met with over the linen situation. We had to call the out of hours number which we were met with a very rude and dismissive manager. At first he told us there was nothing he could or was willing to do and we should go buy it on our own, expressing our disappointment in this we were told he would sort it the following day. We unfortunately couldn't agree to this due to having nothing to sleep with. He eventually agreed to come and see us! At first he was very defensive and rude to us claiming they have never provided linen and stating this was on their website. Eventually he brought back a bag of random bed linen which we fortunately were able to scrape through the week with. On a whole I was very shocked and disappointed in the customer service from the manager from start to finish. we were not made aware that there was building work going on in the campsite. Although an eye sore and inconvenience we tried to perceived with this however this became more of an issue due to the building work and worker starting before 8am. The machines produced high volume of noise which woke us.
